Connecting tubes with plugs in lengths of 9 cm, 14 cm and 24 cm for equipping with distribution plugs, also as a supplement for the raised bed rows.
The speciality are variable pipe strings with the new pipe length of 24 cm + the pipe connectors for 8 mm pipes. For the application, the distribution drippers from the Tropf-Blumat programme, a Tropf-Blumat for the control system and the corresponding connections are required.
-
6 tubes 8 mm with plugs, length 9 cm
-
6 tubes 8 mm with plugs, length 14 cm
-
6 tubes 8 mm with plugs, length 24 cm
-
12 pipe connectors 25 mm x 6 mm ID
-
6 spare plugs
Set is sufficient for:
- with 9 cm tubes - tube string with 6 parts, approx. 60 cm long for 7 distribution drippers, plant spacing 10 cm +/- 3 cm
- with 14 cm tubes - tube string with 6 parts approx. 90 cm long for 7 distribution drippers, plant spacing 15 cm +/- 3 cm
- with 24 cm tubes - tube string with 6 parts approx. 150 cm long for 7 distribution drippers, plant spacing 25 cm +/- 5 cm
Examples of combinations:
- with pipe combination 24 cm + 14 cm + 9 cm results in 2 pipe strands each approx. 150 cm long for 4 distribution drippers, plant spacing 50 cm +/- 5 cm, each consisting of 3 x 3 connected pipes
- with pipe combination 24 cm + 14 cm results in 2 pipe strands each approx. 120 cm long for 4 distribution drippers, plant spacing 40 cm +/- 5 cm, each consisting of 3 x 2 connected pipes
- with pipe combination 24 cm + 9 cm results in 2 pipe strands each approx. 105 cm long for 4 distribution drippers, plant spacing 35 cm +/- 3 cm, each consisting of 3 x 2 connected pipes
For the possible plant spacing, the drip points can be customised in a variety of ways using the various pipe combinations in the range of 10-50 cm and more (see also examples under Contents). Compared to drip chains with drip hoses, the pipe strings with the 8 mm pipes are interesting because they cause hardly any pressure loss due to the larger cross-section, and the strings can be longer. However, it is recommended to limit the length of an assembled pipe string to 150 cm.
The instructions for the complete raised bed rows also apply to the connections.
When laying and assembling, ensure that the pipe connectors are always pushed onto the end of the pipe by approx. 1 cm while turning, and that the connection plugs are removed beforehand. The connected pipes are aligned at the connection point for a straight section, whereby an angle of up to approx. 30° is also possible. The pipe run should be largely horizontal - level the bed surface slightly - and is best fixed in place with 1-2 supports.
